Fees, Duties & Taxes ExplainedUpdated 3 months ago

Taxes are included in the product price for many countries,  so in most cases, no additional tax will be added at checkout.

However, some international orders may incur import duties or customs fees, depending on:

  • The destination country

  • The total value of your order

These charges are government-imposed and are outside of Aid Station’s control.

⚠️ What you need to know:

We do not cover these fees if they apply to your order

If no taxes or duties appear at checkout, and you’re unsure whether you may be charged later, please contact our Athlete Support team before placing your order

Customs thresholds and fees vary by country, check with your local customs office for the most accurate information

If a parcel is refused due to unpaid duties, it may be returned to sender.

💡 What’s the difference?

🧾 Taxes – This includes VAT, GST, or national taxes applied by your country. It’s usually calculated as a percentage of your order value.

📦 Duties – These are government-controlled fees based on either the value or size of your order. Some countries charge duties on all imports, while others only do so above certain thresholds.

We’re here to help if you need assistance or aren’t sure how this might apply to your location 💚
